Even 2 years after release, this game is still consider one of the most hardware demanding First Person Shooter game around. Luckily computers nowadays are well equipped to run this game smoothly, thus letting more people pick and play this game easily.
The environment is more just pretty eye candy in Far Cry, every blade of leave can be ripped apart from flying bullet or a good slash from a knife. The bushes and scrubs can provide coverage to hide from enemy, the crystal clear waterways might hold a hidden attacker for ambush. Many of the object in the game can be interact as well, stone and crates can be arranged to form barricade.
