Beating the Holiday Traffic
Tired of being stuck in traffic jam for hours and inconsiderate drivers who cut your queue?
There nothing much you can do about them in the real world, but you can alway take your frustration in a PC game.
Enters Atari and Moon Byte’s extreme racing game,Crashday.
Crashday, as the title suggest, encourage you to crash your car as spectacle as possible.
Comes with 7 game mode from the standard racing mode to more unusual wreck mode and carry the flag mode. Of course no self respecting racing game these day will be without the ability to pimp your ride, with all form of accessory and gears.
In Wreak Mode, you will playing a familiar game of free for all. Up to 8 players can join in a single match, with the sole objective to rake up score by destroying your opponent. Choose from Machine Gun or Missile Launcher, or old fashion way using your car as a battering ram. Match end when the frag limit is reach but there will be tonnes of fun before then.
With bunch of unlockable cars, weapons and maps, you will be playing for a long time.
Carry the Flag Mode, plays just like any Capture the Flag game.
You must make your way to the other team’s flag pole, steal the flag and survive all the way back to your own flag pole. This mode will require good teamwork both at offense and defend.
Another interesting mode is the Bomb Run.
This is a game of Tag. One player will be tagged with a time bomb and he must touch/tag another player to pass the bomb to her. When the time runs out, the player currently tagged with the bomb will be destroy.
Graphics are some of the best available on the market, car bonnet glimmer under sunlight, paint tyre tracks on the pavement, watch steam rise from hot metal. More then eye candy, accurate laws of physic are incorporated in the game engine to provide the most realistic movement of object and of course car crash.
